I'm between paintings right now so decided to play around and practice impressionistic style and texture. My play session turned out pretty well - I'm happy with this small study (6"x6") and looking forward to incorporating more of this style in all of my paintings. Loosening up has been a long time goal and I think I'm finally getting it.

I like this change in your working style. Very lively!
I really like this first attempt. I've been learning to loosen up myself. It feels really good and my artwork feels more authentic.
